As the Apostle Paul said in Romans 12:10,
“Love one another with mutual affection.”
Such is the aim of the Deacons!

Focus on the Food Ministry

The Food Ministry of the HMPC Deacons supplies food to those who are sick, home from the hospital or anyone who needs a meal. The Deacons have a supply of delicious soup and bread that can go out on a moment's notice.

The Deacons also have a ministry of congregation members who supply more traditional meals when requested to do so. If you are interested in serving on this Food Ministry, please contact any deacon for information and to volunteer for a heart-warming task. You might need such a meal someday!!

Focus on the Transportation Ministry

The Deacon Transportation Ministry provides transportation to HMPC congregational members who need transportation for doctor and hospital visits, shopping, church functions, and other reasons.
The Deacons have a list of drivers who will provide such transportation. Contact any deacon to let them know of your needs. If a congregational member is interested in being added to the Deacon Transportation list, again please contact any deacon to get information and provide a vital church service. It is possible you might need such a service in the future!

Focus on Special Projects Ministry

Need Help Cleaning Up?
The Special Projects Ministry of the HMPC Deacons is in place to fulfill special requests from congregation members for short term projects. These requests include, but are not limited to, yard cleanup following hurricanes and ice storms, moving (downsizing) to an apartment or other living quarters, and possibly painting a room in a house.
The Special Projects Ministry which is made up of congregation members who want to lend a helping hand to fellow members. If you are interested in serving on this ministry, please contact one of the deacons or the church office (787-1086 ext. 6) for information and to volunteer your services, expertise and tools. Women of the church - this is not just a guy thing! Please volunteer your services as well. Contact the church, the Careline (787-1086, ext. 6)
