 Our Ministries

Welcome to Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church’s Ministry page.  Below you will see opportunities for learning, fellowship, outreach and service for people of all ages.  As people of faith we respond to God’s calling in many ways.  With music we extend our praise.  With time, talent and financial gifts we express our gratitude to God.  With openness and a desire to grow we make ourselves available for classes and groups with new and long time friends who are on the journey with us.  At HMPC we look forward to you responding to God’s call through one or many of the opportunities described on these pages.

Missions

HMPC focuses heavily on local, national and global missions and there are a variety of ways that members can become involved. We are called to go forth and serve God with our time and talents through outreach and our journey of faith flourishes when we serve our neighbors both locally and throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ. Take a look then take a leap of faith and become involved!

Giving Ministry (formerly Stewardship)

Taking care of what God has provided is central to the Christian call.  The action of being good care takers is what we call Stewardship.  God has blessed you with a body, a mind and a spirit.  God has provided the earth, the environment, shelter, material resources, money and more.  God has given us today and therefore we are blessed with time.  The question is how do we use all these blessings in a way that shows our thanksgiving to God?

The link below will help to guide you to some ways of responding to God’ generosity.  We thank you for considering how you are called to participate in the ministry of the church by being a steward of God’s gifts.

Music Ministry

The mission of Music Ministry at Hudson Memorial Presbyterian is to provide opportunities for members of all ages to develop and share their musical gifts in the proclamation of the Gospel. The goal of the Music Ministry is to enrich the musical life of the musicians who participate, as together we share our combined gifts to bless others and glorify God. For more information, please click here to contact Barbara Loehr-Fox, Director of music.

Adult Education

At Hudson, we offer a variety of educational classes, discussions and devotionals throughout the week. Please visit our Adult Education page to learn more!

Youth Ministry - Grades 5th through 12th

At Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church, youth ministry is a vital part of who we are. We offer an atmosphere where youth can support and nurture each other, feel safe to ask questions that may be challenging, and participate in a wide variety of fun and enriching experiences. We have an active group of caring youth, a strong youth music program, and a great selection of programs to help teenagers learn and explore their faith. We balance events and programs between education, fellowship, service and worship.

For more information on the Youth Program at HMPC, please click here to contact Rich Richards, Interim Director of Youth & Family Ministries, or click on the link below.

Children's Ministry - Birth through 5th

There are many volunteers and staff involved in making Children’s Education at Hudson a welcoming and nurturing place. From the songs with Ms. Jerry to the group prayer time in KidzPraise, children of all ages will find a community in which they can learn, play, and grow. Please join us on Sunday mornings!
